About the Job
We are currently recruiting for an OSP / Construction Manager for our client in Kansas City. The ideal candidates will have a background working in the telecommunications industry managing OSP construction projects. This role will involve both field and office duties, all in support of directing aerial and underground HFC/Coax construction projects.
This role will require visits to sites throughout a territory extending from Greater Kansas City to Smithville. As such, travel within this footprint will be required!

Duties for this role:
- Position required knowledge of coax construction as well as knowledge of coax splicing
- Manage all external vendors necessary for timely completion and within budget.
- Order and track delivery of 3rd party materials;
- Oversee site construction, managing schedule and subcontractors
- Coordinate all construction activities with local and state agencies with regards to permitting and licensing.
- Coax splicing experience is a large bonus for the right candidate candidate.
- An MVR will be required for onboarding.
- Knowledge of Outside Plant Construction techniques (aerial & underground)
