Cocktail Server - Mika Coral Gables

MIKA Coral Gables is seeking a vibrant and service-oriented Cocktail Server to join our dynamic team. As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a memorable experience by delivering top-notch service, sharing your knowledge of our signature drinks, and contributing to the lively atmosphere of MIKA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit.
• Take cocktail and beverage orders, offering expert recommendations from our carefully curated menu.
• Serve drinks with precision, adhering to MIJA’s service and presentation standards.
• Stay informed about all menu items, especially signature cocktails, ensuring the ability to answer questions and suggest pairings.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, tables, and bar stations.
• Process payments efficiently while adhering to all restaurant policies.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring responsible alcohol service in compliance with local regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the cocktail area and prepping for the next service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cocktail server or in a similar role in an upscale or high-volume restaurant/bar.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine; ability to learn and share MIJA’s menu details with guests.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods of time.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
