As a Cognitive Care Manager, you will carry out our mission to improve the experience of aging together by being responsible for the programs and services associated with Keswick's Cognitive and Caregiver Resource Center. Under the direction of the Senior Director, this manager will oversee daily operations and responsibilities including but not limited to: service navigation and development and facilitation of dementia education and engagement for the Keswick campus and local community. This role will also develop and implement support programs for care partners to better access local resources and self-care tools.

What will I do as a Cognitive Care Manager?

• Manage the day-to-day operations and programs of the Resource Center in response to facilitator needs, classroom preparation, technology needs, and reporting.
• Manage budgetary spending and revenue directly related to the Resource Center in coordination with the overall community health goals.
• Direct supervision of ancillary staff and contracted facilitators serving the cognitive and caregiver resource center and programs.
• Coordinate with Volunteer Services Manager to identify volunteers/interns skill sets to assist in the Resource Center and directly supervise their work as assigned.
• Develop and deliver current, evidenced-based education about AD/ADRD and cognitive well-being (in-person, virtually, and at off-site locations) in collaboration with the Director of Education and Engagement.
• Deliver dementia training to informal and formal caregivers including multi-care staff, in coordination with the community health education team. Serve as a resource and subject-matter expert for dementia to Keswick staff and campus departments.
• Assess the needs and understanding of individuals with dementia and care partners during regular interactions and communications with clients.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to identify and develop an assortment of education, engagement and network of referral options for persons living in the community with cognitive impairment and their care partners.
• Network with other community agencies and serve as representative of Keswick to promote the Resource Center to the public.
• Maintain awareness of community resources and best practices for dementia, Alzheimer's disease, care partner self-care and support services.
• Identify opportunities and facilitate referrals across Keswick service lines.

What is required in this position?

• Bachelor's degree required in gerontology, aging services or a closely related human services field.
• Current certification as a CTRS or ADC preferred.
• Current certification(s) in dementia-related curriculum and training preferred.
• 3+ years related work experience with older adults and/or service navigation preferred.
• 3+ years related work experience with persons with dementia/cognitive impairment preferred.
• Experience delivering programs live and virtually in multiple settings and using different media platforms preferred.
• Experience facilitating evidence-based programs preferred.
• Experience with grant writing and funding allocation preferred.
• Current driver's license, dependable licensed and insured vehicle.
• Proficient use of computer software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, etc).
