Job Summary (Essential Job Duties Only):
- Product must be properly counted. Stacked and placed on good wood
- Responsible for ensuring no damaged product is on pallet
- Order Selector will be held accountable for the accuracy and quality
of the load
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- This position requires the operation of a stand-up forklift.
- Requires the ability to operate the forklift in a safe and
compliant manner abiding by safety policy.
- Operator is expected to operate the forklift up to 90% of the
12-hour shift
Special Skills Required:
- Must be willing to tolerate continuous physical labor in a cold (-10
degrees F), humid environment (9-11 hours per day).
- Must be willing to lift up to 50 pounds to stack pallets on a
continual basis (9-11 hours per day).
- Must be willing to perform proper lifting techniques, including
continually bending at the knees to lift with the legs and pivoting
to avoid twisting (9-11 hours per day).
- Must be willing to work quickly and efficiently (9-11 hours per
day).
- Must be willing to walk a great deal manually (9-11 hours per day).
Requirements:
Experience must be listed on application to be considered for
position
- Must have 6 months of forklift and warehouse experience with a
single employer in last 5 years.
- Stand up forklift and Cold storage Warehousing experience preferred.
STARTING PAY $24.75/hr
Night Shift Premium
: $.85 Cents/hr
Currently Hiring B and D shift only:
Shift availability is determined by the business need at the time
of offer
B shift:
Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Wednesday - 7:00 PM to 1:15am
D shift
:
Wednesday - 1:00 AM to 7:15 AM
Thursday, Friday, & Saturday - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
*This location is not considering prior Tyson Team members at this
time.
