About the Job
SynergenX/Low T Center In search of an MD with a background of Family Practice or Internal Medicine in Nevada to supervise mid level providers providing Telemed services. We are an integrated medical practice that provides hormone replacement therapy and weight loss services to patients.
Must be credentialed as a Primary Care provider and have hospital privileges in that state or able to obtain them.
MD will provide professional medical direction, oversight for the facility, tele-medicine and mid-level providers virtually. This is a great opportunity to have extra income with flexibility and limited responsibilities.
Position will be a part time and will need to supervise mid-level providers performing patient care virtually and have contracts with major insurance carriers. Will be required to evaluate 10 charts per provider you supervise. Must be board certified in Family med or Internal med, and highly preferred to be credentialed with United Healthcare, BCBS, Antea, Cigna, Tricare insurance carriers. If you are not credentialed with Tricare, we can help you with getting in network.
Time requirements for this job are very limited and flexible. At most 1-2 hours per month of work. Great passive income opportunity!!
No late night, weekends or call required.
Job Type: Contract 1099
$6,000 per year for 1 Mid level provider, 10 chart reviews a month.
$12,000 per year for 2 Mid level provider, 20 chart reviews a month.
$18,000per year for 3 Mid level provider, 30 chart reviews a month and so on.
Paid bi-monthly.
Required license or certification:
- MD/DO license without pending or past malpractice lawsuits
- DEA in Nevada active
- Board certified in Family med or Internal medicine
- Reside/Practice in Nevada highly preferred
- NOT practicng HRT/Weight loss or supervising Mid levels currently providing those same services
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise Physician's Assistants / Nurse Practitioner to assure compliance of all applicable regulations. If Applicable instruct and direct the mid-level provider and provide medical direction to the mid-level provider.
- Be available by telecommunication for consultation with the mid-level provider if needed.
- Review and evaluate 10 patient charts a month per provider.
- Comply with ethical, legal & professional issues.
- Comply with applicable regulations and with corporate policies and procedures.
- Comply with quality assurance for all medical issues and assist in the solution of any medical problems.
EDUCATION
Degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from a U.S. accredited institution. Board certified in Family med or Internal medicine
