Position Summary:
Lead the collection efforts for the consumer loan portfolio (including installment, home equity, and mortgage loans), and assist in the collection efforts of our commercial loan portfolio as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinates loan workout, repossession, OREO and foreclosure efforts with the SVP of Credit Administration and Chief Credit Officer.
- Responsible for providing all of the required Freddie Mac delinquency, bankruptcy and foreclosure information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Initiates all governmental programs that provide alternatives to foreclosure, and monitors all governmental fee programs that could adversely impact net income of the bank.
- Communicates with Retail, Mortgage and Business loan customers who have past due and workout loans to coordinate and develop payment plans and maximize collection efforts.
- Utilizes Jack Henry collection system and printed reports to support the banks collection efforts on a consistent and efficient basis.
- Coordinates with Operations to provide all required Freddie Mac delinquency, bankruptcy, and foreclosure reporting accurately and within stated time guidelines.
- Coordinates and follows-up on third party correspondence relating to workout loan efforts with affiliate attorneys.
- Inspects all non-owner occupied properties that are rated >4 annually.
- Monitors FHLMC foreclosure timelines, borrower packages, and initiate alternatives to foreclosure.
- Coordinates and interacts with Operations and other departments of the Bank on matters relating to loss mitigation and risk managements which includes: escrow analysis, PMI, forced placed insurance, underwriting and overdrafts.

Position Performance Standards:
Successfully manage all aspects of the delinquency resolution process for Retail and Mortgage Banking with in FFG/NWB delinquency standards and within the banks ERM program.
Assist the CCO with satisfying the objectives of the banks ERM program by participating in the foreclosure resolution process, OREO liquidation, cost control, attorney coordination, etc.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field preferred. Minimum 5 years Retail and Mortgage collection experience. Minimum 5 years FHLMC, FNMA, VA, FHA and HUD experience. Investor Servicing Guideline experience required
Experience with database creation. Experienced in personal computer usage, Microsoft Office software, and general office equipment. Possess valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and adequate auto insurance.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets and fax machines.
