Job Description & Responsibilities:
As a Collections Representative, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our clients by helping manage past due accounts. You will be responsible for contacting customers and working with them to bring their accounts up to date and in good standing. Your responsibilities will include:

Contacting Accounts: Reach out via email, phone, and text to customers with overdue balances, helping them resolve past due payments.

Account Management: You will be assigned a portfolio of accounts to manage. Work with customers to understand their financial situations and create solutions for bringing accounts current.

Billing Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for billing processes, assisting customers with inquiries, posting payments to accounts, and resolving billing issues.

Inbound/Outbound Calls: Handle both incoming billing calls and proactively make outbound calls to offer support and resolve account issues.

Queue Management: Monitor and manage incoming billing requests via email and phone.

File Maintenance: Keep accurate records of customer financial statuses and interactions to ensure proper documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in billing, collections, or customer service (1 year of collections experience is acceptable if paired with strong billing/customer service skills).

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Willing to Learn: We’re open to candidates with strong customer service/billing experience who are eager to learn the collections aspect.

Customer-Centric: You enjoy working with clients, understanding their needs, and finding solutions to resolve financial issues.
