Collections Specialist - PrideStaff Financial

We are currently seeking a Collection Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will perform cash collections activities for institutional loans, private loans, cash payment plans, and past-due collections for inactive student accounts. You will also assist the finance team in maintaining accurate records and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage collections for various loan types and inactive accounts.
• Communicate with students regarding payment options and account status.
• Maintain accurate records of collections activities.
• Assist in resolving disputes and payment issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma; degree in finance or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in collections or customer service.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
