Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Review and release customer orders based on payment status and account standing.
- Contact customers to secure payment commitments for past due accounts through phone calls and emails.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts to facilitate efficient collections.
- Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), sales representatives, and other departments to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of communication, payment commitments, and account status in the company's database.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B collections.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new software and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with a variety of contacts.
- Patience and persistence in pursuing collections while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Prior experience in billing, accounting, or finance-related roles.
