About the Job
In this role you will lead program development and strategy to attract top collegiate talent to Land O'Lakes. The successful candidate will act as the primary, full cycle recruiting partner for some of our intern talent programs (IT, Finance & Accounting, Dairy Foods Sales). You will develop relationships with internal and external customers at all levels, as related to college internship and entry level hiring (sourcing through onboarding). In addition, you will work with the broader college relations team to frame and drive DEI growth strategies across all early talent program portfolio's.
Travel to college campuses across the country is required as well as travel for conferences and internal Land O'Lakes events. Travel will be approximately 35% during peak recruiting seasons and 10% during non-peak seasons.
This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Arden Hills (hybrid work arrangement each week) or remote from Ames, IA.
What you will do:
- Use your excellent communications skills to develop strong relationships with key partners including internal, university career services, student organizations, diversity/disability offices, and other relevant groups to achieve program goals
- Leverage internal and external data analysis, trends and benchmarking insights to transform our programs and processes
- Lead overall DEI early talent strategies in partnership with college relations recruiters, talent program leads and internal groups (ex.ERG's)
- Partner with college relations teammates to create operational plans that build: diverse pools and hiring practices, team trainings and deeper connections with qualified diverse talent. In addition, explore new and innovative opportunities for underrepresented students in the agriculture industry.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements that drive operational excellenceand ensure alignment to company priorities and hiring goals
- Apply your creativity to source and nurture student leads via Phenom People CRM tool
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related degree with 4+ years of Recruiting experience required. University recruiting, and entry level talent preferred
- Experience creating successful DEI recruiting strategies and programming
- Tech Savvy, Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) skills
- Workday Recruiting and a CRM tool (ie. Phenom People)
- Must be willing to travel to key schools and conferences. Heavy fall and spring travel
