Duly Health and Care, distinguished as the Midwest's preeminent independent multispecialty physician-led group with over 900 physicians, is actively seeking an exceptionally skilled U.S. fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon to enhance our esteemed department situated in the Chicago suburbs. Anchored by a dynamic team of 20 surgeons, our expertise spans surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, breast surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and bariatrics. Specifically, we are inviting a highly proficient colorectal surgeon to join our collaborative group of four seasoned general surgeons within the Edward Pod, strategically located in Chicago's Western suburbs.

The caseload offers a nuanced focus, encompassing the treatment of anorectal diseases, benign and malignant colorectal disorders, and advanced endoscopic procedures. The incoming surgeon will engage in a meticulously balanced mix of colorectal and general cases (60/40), gradually transitioning towards an exclusive emphasis on colorectal cases. This dynamic position involves 36 patient contact hours per week, thoughtfully distributed between 12-16 hours in the clinic and 20-24 hours in the operating room. Call duties, shared at a ratio of 1:5 on weekdays and weekends, will be coordinated with general surgery Pod partners. Clinics will be strategically hosted in Naperville and Lisle, while surgeries will be conducted at Lombard and Naperville ambulatory surgery centers, in addition to Edward Hospital.

This compelling opportunity arises from the strategic expansion of our practice, addressing the imperative to reduce wait times associated with another colorectal surgeon covering a separate Pod. The recruited colorectal surgeon will exclusively manage referrals for the Edward Pod, enjoying the benefits of a robust referral network of over 900 physicians. While prior experience is preferred, it is not obligatory, and the position offers access to cutting-edge robotic technology both at the hospital and the surgery center. Anticipate a robust practice from day one, with a steady influx of referrals from primary care, oncology, and other specialties.
