Combination Machine Operator / 1st Shift
The Trident Company -- is seeking a Combination Machine Operator in our Tulsa, OK facility. The Combination Machine Operator performs advanced production activities requiring a demonstrated high level of skill and ability in material handling, production processes and multiple machine operation through extended experience and training.
Hourly Rate range: $19.00 to $25.00 / depending on experience.
Essential Functions:
* Loads work pieces for processing, adjusts machine controls to set cutting speed, depth, and feed rates; and diagnoses problems and makes necessary adjustments
* Operates a combination of different machines to process work by cutting, burning, sawing, blasting, shearing, punching, grinding, bending, or pressing
* Determines processing specifications such as materials, cutting tools, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances and operational sequences by reviewing blueprints, work orders, tooling instructions or other written specifications
* Installs and aligns specified punches, cutting blades or other fixtures in machine bed using gauges, calipers, squares, rulers, templates, feelers, shims, or hand tools
* Performs quality control inspections on finished product; for ISO-certified locations, performs In Process Quality Inspections and completed work order documentation
* Coordinates and executes material handling of all inventories to be processed including operation of overhead crane
* Performs limited preventative maintenance, such as lubrication, cleaning and changing of parts
* May train less experienced workers and perform as lead in absence of group leader
* Marks material after processing, store material for added processing and/or shipping
* Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

* High school diploma or GED
* Ability to read job tickets, drawings, blueprints, and policy manuals
* Proficient measuring skills to read and convert metric units
* Ability to calculate and convert decimals and fractions
* Minimum two (2) years' experience with operating multiple machines
* Experience with using an overhead crane preferred
* Candidate must pass pre-employment drug screening process
