Are you a sales-driven professional with a strong background in the coatings industry? We're looking for a Commercial Account Specialist to join a leading company, focusing on the sales and service of commercial and industrial coatings.
A dynamic individual who not only understands the coatings market but excels at managing client relationships and driving business growth. This role is perfect for someone with a proven sales track record and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Base Salary: $60,000 to $90,000 per year
- Total Compensation (with commissions/bonuses): $80,000 to $120,000+ per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new business opportunities in the commercial and industrial sectors, using cold calling, networking, and referrals to grow your client base.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with existing clients, serving as their go-to resource for sales and service inquiries.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client objectives and recommend customized solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, technical support, and customer service to deliver seamless, value-driven solutions.
- Manage client service requests, ensuring quick and effective resolution of any product-related issues.
- Present persuasive sales pitches, proposals, and product demonstrations that highlight the advantages of our coatings solutions.
- Conduct regular client reviews to assess satisfaction, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and strengthen partnerships.
- Stay informed on industry trends and market dynamics to stay ahead of client needs.
- Keep accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and forecasts using CRM software.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven success in sales, preferably within the coatings industry.
- A solid understanding of commercial and industrial coatings, their applications, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A customer-focused mindset with a drive for delivering excellent service.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, industry events, and training.
