DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Advise clients on aspects of capitalization, such as amounts, sources, or timing. Collaborate with investment bankers to attract new corporate clients. Conduct financial analyses related financing companies from a working capital or M&A perspective. Develop and maintain client relationships. Prepare and present oral and written materials on behalf of the firm to clients inclusive of industry updates, economic trends, and technological advances and strategies. Build relationships and provide financial advice to commercial clients. Pursue client acquisition, portfolio management and ongoing relationship management. Work independently and as part of a team to introduce comprehensive solutions to clients. Portfolio management responsibilities and comprehensive solutions include, in person, phone, and virtual client meetings to get consistent updates on performance and needs, outbound calling of prospective clients to gauge interest in forming a relationship with the firm, ongoing diligence and risk management processes and procedures including credit renewals, KYC (Know Your Customer) renewals and updates, industry risk assessment, work independently and as part of a team to introduce comprehensive solutions to clients. Additionally, this includes, leading team of cash management, credit, and investment banking partners to provide appropriate solutions (treasury-liquidity solutions and online banking, credit facilities, and/or investment banking services including but not limited to foreign exchange and M&A). Grow and retain profitable relationships within the Middle Market and Specialized Industries target space, referring business to other areas of the firm such as the private ban, business bank, investment bank and consumer bank. Identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships. Efficiently work with technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologies. This position requires up to 60% domestic travel to client sites. Client site visits is to meet with clients in person for meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Commercial Banking, Business Banking, Commercial Relationship, Financial Services Manager, Cash Management Specialist, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Commercial Banking, Business Banking, Commercial Relationship, Financial Services Manager, Cash Management Specialist, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Direct lending or credit support related experience with a fluency in asset-based and cash-flow lending; Commercial Banking products including treasury and cash management, international banking, derivative products including foreign exchange and rate risk management, asset management products, and investment banking offering; financial products including treasury services and credit products; Credit management including assessing credit risks rating, credit analysis parameters for both cash-flow and asset-based lending; Financial operational risks including anti-money laundering and regulatory requirements; financial analysis and credit review process; Commercial acquisitions; Financial legal loan documentations and negotiating credit terms.
Job Location: 100 N Tampa St., Tampa, FL 33602. This position requires up to 60% domestic travel to client sites. Client site visits is to meet with clients in person for meetings. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
