The Commercial Card Product and Sales Support Manager is responsible for managing the product lifecycle of our commercial card offerings, providing technical sales support to the Treasury Sales team, and ensuring a seamless client experience. This role is pivotal in driving product innovation, enhancing sales processes, partnering with vendors to ensure we maintain high levels of extraordinary service and competitive product offerings. This position will leverage a consultative approach, working closely with Treasury Bankers to analyze clients' Payment Cycle processes and make recommendations for enhancements and efficiencies. This position partners with marketing, sales, product, technology teams and vendors to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, to ensure continuity in product offerings and alignment with the organization’s strategies.
Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of product development, new product launch and product changes, including, but not limited to, product configuration, testing, development of procedures and training.
- Maintain a high level of commercial card and accounts payable knowledge and remain current on industry product offerings.
- Provide technical sales support and training to sales teams.
- Lead efforts in the development of sales materials, presentations and client proposals, collaborating with other teams as appropriate.
- Address technical challenges with appropriate resources, vendor, technology partners and card services team members.
- Work closely with Market Leaders and Bankers to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Identify gaps and recommend new or existing product changes and enhancements to improve market position, client experience, quality, efficiencies, and expense management.
- Ensure a seamless transition with Card Services and Treasury Implementation to onboard new commercial card and AP Automation clients.
- Act as liaison and project lead on vendor related initiatives.
- Lead efforts on market research and client engagement to ensure products and services are aligned with bank strategies.
- Collaborate with other Product team members to maintain Product Roadmap initiatives and prioritization.
- Create project proposals and business cases for new and existing products.
- Monitor core vendor driven changes, measure and manage impact as well as communicate changes appropriately to internal and external audiences.
- Track, report, and communicate key project milestones and recommend adjustments as needed for on time and on budget completion of product implementations and enhancements.
- Analyze and interpret product related data, including profitability and associated costs; communicate data to influence business decisions and actions; drive product adoption.
- Create management reports that can be used to measure success and needs for improvement as well as any ad-hoc reports as necessary.
- Coordinate and engage with the compliance and audit partners to ensure a controlled, documented, and compliant product launch/implementation.
- Maintain all necessary product specifications, policies, procedures and any project documentation (vendor documentation, quotes, statements of work and vendor comparison) and update as necessary.
- Create and maintain product demos and test accounts.
- Identify and create internal and external client communication pertaining to product and service announcements.
- Provide timely and accurate information and documentation in compliance with relevant laws, Bank regulations, industry best practices and Bank policies and procedures.
- Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
- Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients and vendors.
- Represent the Bank and Product team in a highly professional manner.
- Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.
- Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Reliable and predictable attendance; both onsite and remote work.
- Minimum five years of product management experience, sales support, or related role within the commercial card industry is preferred.
- Strong technical acumen and understanding of commercial card products and payment solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficient technical skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity of Microsoft Project and Visio is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of bank products and systems, including regulatory and legal requirements.
- Working knowledge of FIS core processing, commercial card program knowledge and related systems is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a proactive approach to assignments, manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience, preferably in a commercial bank environment.
