- Framing: You are responsible for constructing the framework of commercial buildings. This includes building walls, floors, roofs, and partitions using wooden structural components such as guardrails, hand rails, blocking, shoring, temporary walls, beams, studs, trusses, and joists.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Commercial carpenters may be responsible for inspecting and repairing existing wooden structures, fixtures, or components in commercial buildings. This includes assessing damage, replacing or repairing damaged materials, and ensuring structural stability.
- Safety and Compliance: As a commercial carpenter, you follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment. You adhere to regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance throughout your carpentry work.
In addition, each applicant must:
- Have at least 4 years of experience in carpentry.
- Own their own hand tools.
- Have reliable, consistent transportation.
Applicants without experience, tools, or transportation will not be considered.
Although we are a temporary service this is a long-term project with competitive hourly wage. Wages are paid weekly and are D.O.E.
