Commercial Construction Superintendent - Gpac

GPAC, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the commercial construction industry. Our client is a full-service design/build, general contract, and construction management firm specializing in tenant improvement and ground-up construction projects.

This is an amazing opportunity for experienced Superintendents looking to be a part of a dynamic and successful team. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing diverse commercial projects including industrial, warehouse, office, and private commercial developments. Your leadership and expertise will directly contribute to the success and completion of high-quality construction projects.

Superintendent Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities for assigned projects

.- Oversee subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project schedules and meet quality standards.

- Monitor project progress, schedule, and budget while promptly addressing any potential issues or delays.

- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed.

- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.

Superintendent Job Functions:

- Supervise and direct construction activities, ensuring the project is completed within budget, on schedule, and according to the highest quality standards.

- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, identify any deviations from plans, and resolve construction-related issues.

- Manage and document project documentation, including daily reports, site inspections, and change orders.

- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to establish and maintain excellent working relationships.

- Stay informed about industry best practices, construction trends, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and enhance project outcomes.

Superintendent Skills:

- Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.

- Extensive knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and practices.

- Proficient in construction software and technology, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address unforeseen challenges and resolve conflicts effectively.

Benefits:

- Competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000.
