Position Overview: The Commercial Construction Superintendent will oversee daily operations on the job site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid background in carpentry and general contracting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Manage job site activities and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Schedule and oversee work to meet project timelines and milestones.
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality control measures.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain project documentation and report on progress to management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on general contracting.
• Strong background in carpentry and knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
