COMMERCIAL SAFE AND LOCK INC is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Door Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role involves selling commercial doors, frames, and hardware to clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of commercial door systems, including wood, aluminum, and hollow metal frames and doors, as well as commercial hardware. - Sales & Business Development: Drive sales of commercial doors, frames, and hardware by building strong relationships with new and existing customers. Focus on understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Apply extensive knowledge of commercial frames (wood, aluminum, and hollow metal) and commercial doors (wood, aluminum, and hollow metal) to recommend appropriate products.
- Commercial Hardware Expertise: Provide expert advice on commercial hardware applications, including electrified hardware such as exit (panic) bars, strikes, maglocks, locksets, door closers, and access control systems.
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining clear communication, understanding customer needs, and providing timely solutions.
- Storefront Applications: Leverage experience in commercial storefront applications to meet client demands for secure, functional, and aesthetically pleasing storefronts.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Address technical challenges in door and hardware installation, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the service team as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage customer communications, prepare quotes, process orders, and maintain records using Microsoft Office and other software tools.
- Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial frames, doors, and hardware, including experience with wood, aluminum, and hollow metal doors and frames.
- Sales Experience: Proven success in sales, preferably within the commercial door or hardware industry.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to provide clear, professional information to clients.
- Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to doors and hardware. Familiarity with low voltage circuits, relay logic, access control, and intrusion detection systems is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accurate quotes, orders, and product specifications.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and other relevant computer applications.
- Self-Starter: Reliable, self-motivated individual who can manage their time efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Execution: Expertise in commercial hollow metal, wood, and glass/aluminum doors and door hardware, including electrified hardware (exit bars, strikes, maglocks, locksets, and door closers).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of access control and basic intrusion detection systems is an advantage.
- Communication/Customer Service: Excellent ability to convey technical information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues and learning new skills to advance your career.
- Reliability: A self-starter who can be trusted to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
