We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Drywall Estimator/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position involves estimating project costs and managing the execution of commercial drywall and other construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both construction estimation and project management, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency while staying on budget and on time.

- Project Estimator:
- Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial drywall and construction projects.
- Analyze drawings and specifications to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather all necessary information and pricing data.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals and cost reports for upcoming projects.
- Evaluate and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.
- Project Manager:
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage daily operations on job sites, coordinating with suppliers, and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments to stay on track with project goals and deadlines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any issues, questions, or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Review and approve project change orders, ensuring accurate documentation and adjustments to project budgets.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary project submittals, documentation, contracts, and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 5+ years of experience in project estimation and management, specific to the commercial drywall sector.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Onscreen Takeoff, Quickbid, and BuzzBid, as well as project management software.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, materials, and industry safety standards.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
