Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager/Director
Position Type: Full Time/ On-Site

Salary Range / Rate: Base $150,000-$200,000

Responsibilities
• Participate in the formulation of company’s development strategy and provide support and advice on strategic planning both short term and long term.
• Establish and implement short and long-range accounting and financial goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund expansion.
• Improve company’s financial and capital management system and processes and build an internal control system that meets the compliance requirements. Ensure compliance to corporate policies, procedures, local statutory and local accounting and reporting standards.
• Work as business partner to management team in all financial operation matters with sound financial/commercial advice.
• Responsible for the relationship between company and externals, such as banks, financial partners, investment institutions, public auditors, and officials, etc. expanding diversified financing channels, external cooperation, and financing.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate financing plans, coordinating the pre-loan and post-loan management, achieving company’s financing income targets and credit control.
• Organize and lead company’s financial management, cash flow management, cost management, budget management, controlling, financial accounting, analysis and assessment, strengthen company’s KPI management to improve operational efficiency and ensure company’s profit targets.
• Improve planning process and coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
• Participate ERP system go-live or upgrade project as finance lead to ensure project successfully implemented.
• Prepare and oversee financial statements and provide analysis of variances and key elements impacting operating results, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports, to pinpoint potential weak areas and expenses to guide country managers.
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts, financial reports and financial trends to the executive team and make recommendations.
• Ensure timelines and accuracy of financial and management reporting data.
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
• Monitor inventory management.
• Manage the tax filings to be submitted on time.
• Oversee risk management to ensure consistency of policy across the businesses (where applicable) by supporting legal document reviews (e.g. customer contracts, suppliers & partnership agreement, credit assessment) and processes in line with global policies and standards to minimize commercial and financial risks and exposure.
• Maintain and improve the finance organization, establish functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
• Build, coach, train and develop finance team to drive competences improvement.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Finance related.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in finance of mfg. industry, more than 5 years of proven successful leadership experience in finance in multinational company.
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
• Solid US and China GAAP and financial reporting technical skills.
• Familiar with ERP system with go-live experience from 0-1.
• Strategic thinking, Strong finance planning and analytical and conceptional capabilities.
• Have rich network with financing channels is preferred.
• Proficient in budget development and forecasting system.
• Familiar with manufacturing cost management, Cost accounting experience in the manufacturing industry is a must.
• Good at problem solving.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations.
• Cash & Net Working Capital Management.
• Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and relationship building skills.
• Sound negotiation skills.
• Self-driven, willing to take challenges.
• Purse continuous improvement, prepare to roll up sleeve and get things done.
