Our client, a leading global real estate services firm, is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to join their team. Operating in the dynamic and fast-paced real estate industry, this role requires a combination of technical expertise and essential soft skills.
As an HVAC/R Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across multiple facilities. This position demands exceptional problem-solving skills to analyze system operations, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
**Job Title: HVAC/R Technician**
**Location: Seattle, WA**
**Pay Range: Up to $34 hourly**
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire/life safety, and control systems across multiple facilities.
+ Travel between different facility locations to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and replacing parts for HVAC systems and associated equipment.
+ Monitor and ensure quality of work performed by outside contractors for maintenance tasks.
+ Comply with all safety procedures, maintain clean and safe work areas, and propose methods to eliminate potential hazards.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience: 8-10 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
+ Technical Expertise: Ability to analyze the operation of various commercial or industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action.
+ Certifications: EPA 608 Type II Certification is required, and EPA 608 Universal Certification is preferred.
+ Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC role is preferred.
+ Skills: Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel, as well as a valid driver's license for traveling between multiple facilities.
