Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Commercial HVAC Salesperson to join our team and focus on selling Preventative Maintenance Agreements to our commercial clients. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and meeting sales targets. Experience is a plus but not required, as we are willing to provide training to the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Manage Client Relationships
- Identify and build relationships with potential commercial clients through networking and outreach.
- Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations with clients to understand their HVAC needs and present tailored solutions.
- Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Generate and Close Sales
- Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and quotations for HVAC systems and services.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Follow up on leads and prospects to convert them into sales and track progress through the sales pipeline.
Coordinate with Internal Teams
- Facilitate a smooth transition from sales to service by clearly communicating client requirements, expectations, and project details to the service team.
- Monitor the progress of installations or service calls to ensure they meet the agreed-upon standards and timelines.
- Gather feedback from clients about their onboarding experience and relay this information to the service team for continuous improvement.
Administrative and Reporting Duties
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and transactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Handle administrative tasks related to contracts, proposals, and client documentation efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Compensation:
- Base $50,000+ and Commission based on sales quota
