Essential Responsibilities for Commercial HVAC Technicians

• Perform routine maintenance and service on commercial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal operation and efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Install and commission new HVAC equipment and systems according to technical specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to plan and execute HVAC projects in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of service and installation activities, parts usage, and field reports.

Qualifications and Competency Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or trade certification in HVAC technology preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC servicing, maintenance, or installation.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with knowledge of advanced diagnostic tools and practices.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and controls including boilers, chillers, and air handlers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Compensation and Benefits Package

• $25.00-$35.00 Hr. Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
