Commercial Insurance CSR - Primary Location

Licensed Commercial Customer Service Representative for established commercial agency.

Two years Commercial service experience required and sales experience helpful.

Salary Range: $50000.00 - $75000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Daily use of agency management system (Hawksoft or 360)-client file database.
• Ability to work with general agents in requesting changes to existing policies (adding locations, adding coverage, changing lenders)
• Knowledge of what to ask for prior to making change requests
• issuing COIs & EOIs and emailing them to lenders and cert holders including when & how to add additional insureds, waivers of subrogation, primary & non-contributory and other required wording to policies and COIs;
• Processing the endorsements when received and invoicing/collecting premiums by due date including working your personal suspenses on daily basis.
• Processing online changes on commercial auto and other direct bill type policies
• Knowing the difference between direct bill and agency bill and how to tell which applies on each type of policy or company.
• Final audits including verifying audit is correct
• Invoicing client & knowing the procedures, time limitations & following up on collecting additional premiums due on final audits
• Emailing/contacting each client for updated renewal information each year.
• Completing ACORD forms for new and renewal business as needed/required.
• Servicing multi-property investment packages up to & over 100 properties.
• Average account size you will be responsible for is between $10,000 to $150,000 annual premium.

Requirements: minimum 2-years of commercial lines property & casualty experience in independent agency & current Texas general lines license.

Experience in all lines of commercial business insurance is a must.

Quoting experience is a plus on commercial auto, property, package, inland marine & workers compensation.
