The Independent Contractor Salesperson will solicit new business and provide services for maximizing profitable relationships with insureds/prospective insureds.

Responsibilities
Contracted Activities
- Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities with new and existing insureds in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
- Obtain proposals from various carriers for prospective insureds based on their expressed needs, process proposals, and bind coverage. Follow-up with insureds and carriers requests as necessary with inspections, photos, and other requested documentation.
- Support and prepare insureds for renewal and retention while maintaining strong relationships with insureds through regular communication.
- Collaborate with Agency employees and management and participate in Agency meetings as needed.
Requirements
Requirements
- Hold and maintain a P&C insurance license, while meeting corresponding CE requirements required by the state that the Agency and Independent Contractor Salesperson is operating in.
- Keep informed regarding industry information, new and existing product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and services.
- Currently have or plan to obtain a Life & Health Insurance license.
