Commercial & IP Litigation Attorney - Round Hill Search

Round Hill Search seeks a seasoned and results-driven Commercial and Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney. As a key member, you will be crucial in providing legal counsel and representation in complex litigation involving commercial disputes and intellectual property issues. Your responsibilities will include case management, legal research, document preparation, and courtroom representation. The ideal candidate will have a solid commercial and intellectual property litigation background and a proven track record of successfully handling diverse and challenging legal cases.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a diverse caseload of commercial and intellectual property litigation matters from initiation through resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research on commercial and intellectual property laws, regulations, and case precedents to inform case strategy.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs related to litigation.
• Provide legal counsel on intellectual property protection, including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
• Engage in negotiation processes to reach settlements and favorable outcomes for clients in commercial and IP disputes.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and other legal proceedings, presenting arguments and examining witnesses.
• Interact with clients to understand their legal needs, provide updates on case developments, and address inquiries.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, experts, and consultants to build strong legal cases.
• Evaluate and assess legal risks associated with commercial and intellectual property matters, providing strategic advice to mitigate potential issues.
• Explore and engage in alternative dispute resolution methods when applicable.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in California.
• Four (4)+ years experience as an attorney specializing in commercial and intellectual property litigation.
• Clerkship is not required but is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle diverse litigation cases, focusing on commercial and intellectual property disputes.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective representation and client communication.
• Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Collaborative mindset with effective teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving laws, case dynamics, and client needs.

Salary:

$200,000 - $350,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications
