Position Overview:
The Commercial Janitorial Foremen will manage the day-to-day activities of a team of 7 industrial cleaning laborers and is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of cleaning services performed at the assigned location. The schedule for this position is: Monday - Friday; 7am to 3:30pm.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for the supervision of a crew involving mops, brooms, rags, floor scrubbers, low pressure washing, and chemical solution cleanings.
- Organize crews, delegate job responsibilities, and verify that all appropriate tools and supplies are available onsite to complete the job safely.
- Enforce jobsite safety to comply with all OSHA regulations and the hth companies' Safety Program
- Actively champions a positive workplace and safety culture.
- Acts as a liaison for all site leadership in their region and maintains positive client relations.
- Actively develops and maintains a high-performing team that is dedicated to customer service.
- Performs various other duties and functions as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Must have two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the construction/industrial field with some management experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred (but not required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of safety principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Work Availability
- This role works Monday - Friday; 7am to 3:30pm.
