F&M Trust, a community bank deeply rooted in South Central Pennsylvania, is expanding its financial footprint into Maryland. The bank, headquartered in Chambersburg, is adding a community office in Hagerstown to its 21 community offices in Pennsylvania. The West Washington Street office is in the heart of downtown Hagerstown, a city that is experiencing significant business investment and development in the Arts & Entertainment District. This position in the bank's newest growth market presents an exciting opportunity as it will be integral in establishing F&M Trust's presence in Maryland and ensuring the continued growth of the bank.

ABOUT THE ROLE

F&M Trust is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Services Relationship Manager (Commercial Lender) for Hagerstown, MD. This Commercial Services Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing a commercial loan portfolio within the Washington County Market as the bank enters this new market. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for deposit growth, fee income, and cross-selling opportunities to business partners. To be an immediate successful individual, this individual will have connections throughout the region and be able to bring banking relationships to the bank.

When not meeting with clients, the home office location for this individual will be at our new West Washington Community Office.

This role will receive a salary commensurate on experience and comprehensive benefits package.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of commercial lending or business banking experience. Greater experience in commercial lending will be considered when determining level of position. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and performance.
• Familiarity with and well-connected to business opportunities in the Hagerstown market.
• Strong business development skills and great comfort in talking with centers of influences.
• Relationship centric; desire to serve in an advisor role to provide guidance and advice to customers in a planning mode.
• Desire to cultivate community connections, centers of influence, internal referrals, and current clients in order to grow the book of business.
• Valid Driver's license.
