Commercial Lines Account Assistant/Trainee - Primary Location

JOB SUMMARY

Supports the Account Executive team in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. Works closely with Account Executives and Insurance Processors to service accounts in a team environment. This position includes training to become a full Account Executive.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Support Account Executives team with day to day service needs for clients

Support Account Executives team with marketing for new and renewal coverages

Detailed duties:

Maintain client files and ensure accurate account information

Process and Follow-up on client change requests

Complete Certificates and Evidences of Property coverage with Account Executive oversight

Complete coverage reviews and completion of policy checklists

Create summaries of insurance as directed

Prepare policy cancellations & lost policy release forms as directed

Follow-up on Company and Non-Pay cancellations to alert Account Executive

Check audits and prepare for delivery, as directed

Request Loss Runs for renewing policies 90 days before renewal

Request MVRs as directed

Gather renewal supplemental applications as directed

Prepare final submission for new and renewal marketing as directed

Review and finalize new and renewal quotations and proposals for Account Executive

Draft renewal proposals for Account Executives

Quote premium finance agreements as directed

Keep informed on industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance

Performs other functions as assigned by management

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one-year working experience with Administrative tasks using MS Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Minimum one-year working experience in a team environment
