About GBMB Insurance Agency, A Division of Patriot Growth Insurance Services: GBMB Insurance Agency, LLC. was founded in 1983 by Hayden Grona and Jerry Boles as Grona Boles Insurance Agency, Inc. The agency was formed to provide business and personal insurance services to the San Antonio and surrounding communities. In 1997, the agency expanded into employee benefits and Life insurance field with the addition of Bill Martin, and expanded again in 2001 when Chris Bloxsom brought his personal lines expertise to the agency and rounded out the Grona Boles Martin & Bloxsom name.

In 2010 ownership of the agency passed to Bill Martin and Chris Bloxsom and was rebranded to GBMB Insurance Agency, LLC. Jerry Boles continues to work closely with the agency and provides key expertise and knowledge to this day. By 2018 GBMB had outgrown its beloved Isom location and moved a few miles north on highway 281 to our current Oak Creek Court location. In 2023 we celebrated our 40^th Anniversary and we opened a second location in New Braunfels! We are proud to say we have clients whom we have served just as long and we also enjoy experienced and loyal staff members who have been with the agency since its inception.

Our firm is located in San Antonio; however we have clients throughout Texas. We work hard to support the community through various service organizations and scholarship fundraisers as well as San Antonio and surrounding counties Livestock Expositions.

Position Overview: As a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our commercial insurance clients. You will be responsible for managing client accounts, addressing inquiries, processing policy changes, and assisting with claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality customer support.

This position requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and client needs. You will work closely with account managers, underwriters, and other team members to ensure client satisfaction and retention. By maintaining a thorough understanding of commercial insurance products and services, you will help clients navigate complex insurance policies and provide timely solutions to their concerns.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position working in our office located in San Antonio, TX.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Respond to inquiries and requests from commercial insurance clients via phone, email, or in person.
• Process and manage commercial insurance policies
• Assist clients with claim submissions, provide claim status updates, and help resolve issues with adjusters or underwriters.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on policy changes and billing.
• Prepare, review, and file insurance documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
• Address client concerns or issues and work with underwriters, brokers, or other departments to find timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, agency policies, and industry standards during all interactions with clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients to foster retention and satisfaction.
• Enter and update client information and policy details in the company’s database and CRM system.
• Work closely with underwriters, agents, and other internal teams to ensure smooth processing of commercial policies.
• Provide clients with billing information, payment options, and assist with resolving payment-related inquiries.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience in commercial insurance (required)
• Experience with policy management, quoting, or claims handling in a commercial insurance setting (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
• A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
