Customer Service Representative
- Help create and maintain a warm, welcoming, and friendly environment for our customers and coworkers.
- Help foster an environment that encourages communication and teamwork.
Sales
- Assist customers with procuring appropriate coverages for their individual needs.
- Quote and propose policies.
- Issue new business.
- Process policy changes: Inform agent if applicable.
- Process payments.
- Educate customers about insurance, coverages, processes, and the insurance industry as a whole.
- Remarket customers when appropriate or requested.
- Provide support for all agents and members of the sales team.
- Take new business information when appropriate to avoid multiple phone calls to begin quoting. E.g.: No agent available
Administrative
- Manage Applied Epic responsibilities and follow ups.
- Maintain records for customer accounts. E.g.: documenting change requests, renewal information, professional recommendations given.
- Process Applied Epic reports.
- Assist the Customer Service Assistant with answering the phones.
- Direct phone calls to the appropriate party.
- Cover Customer Service Assistant and other Customer Service Reps duties as required. E.g.: Greeting customers, answering phones, tidying communal areas.

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Office: 4 years (Required)
- Customer Service: 4 years (Required)
- Commercial Insurance: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Property and Casualty Insurance License (Required)
