Responsibilities:As a Commercial Lines Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting client acquisition, maintenance, and retention.
- Assist Commercial Lines Customer Service Repesentatives and Senior Technical Assistants with servicing assigned clients, managing transactions efficiently.
- Handle workflow, billing, rating, policy follow-ups, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and renewal orders.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines within the Commercial Lines Department and adapt to future changes.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in accounting, ensuring smooth operations.
- Meet individual performance goals set by the Commercial Lines Department Manager.
- Collaborate with Customer Service Repesentatives, Producers, and the Commercial Lines Manager to address client issues and clarifications.
- Provide backup for Senior Technical Assistants and other roles as needed.
- Maintain a solid understanding of commercial lines workflows and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education, with one (1) year of insurance agency or company experience.
- State Property & Casualty License required or obtained within 6 months of employment.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with TAM "The Agency Manager" a definite plus.

Hourly range is $20.52 to $28.20 per hour, based on experience.
