Position Overview:
Our Client is seeking a talented and motivated Associate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in sophisticated commercial litigation to join their New Jersey office. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who is eager to advance their career in a dynamic legal environment. As a member of the litigation team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes cases across a variety of industries. You will be involved in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial motions and discovery to trials and appeals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Assist in managing a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property litigation, and other complex commercial disputes.

• Legal Research and Writing: Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.

• Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely updates, addressing their concerns, and advising them on legal strategy.

• Discovery: Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.

• Court Appearances: Represent clients in court, including at hearings, conferences, and trials.

• Collaborative Work: Work closely with partners and other associates on case strategy, trial preparation, and client development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of general experience in sophisticated commercial litigation.

• Licensure: Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required.

• Academic Background: Strong academic credentials from a respected law school.

• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
