Location: Southfield, MI (Hybrid Role)

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 base, with potential to reach $105,000 through bonuses and case work

About Us: We are a dedicated law firm located in Southfield, Michigan, specializing in representing policyholders in fire, property damage, and insurance-coverage disputes, as well as other aspects of commercial litigation. We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a qualified attorney with at least five years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insurance law and coverage, and will be involved in all aspects of litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, respond to motions and discovery requests, and draft and respond to dispositive motions.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
• Attend hearings and represent clients in court.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Perform other legal assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of five years of experience in litigation.
• Strong knowledge of insurance law or insurance coverage preferred.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
