 Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation and be ready to contribute to our fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions, subpoenas, and discovery materials
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation
• Manage electronic case files and documents, ensuring all materials are current and well-organized
• Facilitate the discovery process, including document collection, review, and production
• Create detailed deposition summaries and comprehensive trial binders
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and external agencies
• Monitor and manage case-related deadlines and calendars
• Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in commercial litigation support
• In-depth understanding of legal concepts, terminology, and processes specific to commercial litigation
• Proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with electronic discovery tools and case management software
• Experience with federal and state court filing systems

Note: While a paralegal certificate is not required, candidates should demonstrate a strong track record of relevant work experience in commercial litigation.
