Work Model: Onsite in our Appleton office, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
The Commercial Loan Coordinator is a key contributor in servicing the overall commercial loan portfolio. A coordinator who can effectively multi-task to achieve multiple, various, and moving deadlines. They understand both the renewal process, how to clear memos or exceptions outstanding in additional to advising on scope of information needed to close both new/renewed loans or modification of terms in accordance with Bank policy and procedure.
Teaming with multiple Bankers, supporting them in a timely, accurate and concise manner. Ensuring deadlines for new loan closing are met; renewals are processed timely, closing the loop on outstanding memos, and exceptions are within goal ranges with support from peers.
o Loan coordination (New, Renewal, Modification of Terms):
- Professional support teamed with multiple Loan Officers within a Region or cross Regionally.
- Prepares new loan request checklist of items needed using data from Bank’s software and reports, forming recommendations on approval paths for new, renewed, or modified loans using knowledge of loan policy.
- Prepares both renewal and modification of terms checklist of items needed using data from Bank’s software and reports, forming recommendations on approval paths for new, renewed, or modified loans using knowledge of loan policy.
- Uses Bank’s loan origination system to start/route new, renewal and modification of terms applications for decisioning and documentation.
- Post approval, prepares, owns, or supplements loan closing checklist of items needed
o Loan Transactions:
- Supports for coordination of commercial loan payments and loan draws to both ensure clean handoff to Loan Operations in accordance with Bank procedures and positive client experience.
- Is a resource for trouble shooting transactional or billing errors using knowledge of core system.
- Advises on when such transactions need to be on boarded using knowledge of how a loan is being documented & serviced.
- Engages external loan participation partners via email, securely, for transactions using a predetermined template and formula or assists CRA and CRA II in that regard.
Exceptions:
- Meets monthly with Banker(s) to review file information needed at a minimum monthly
- With knowledge of loan policy makes recommendations and prepares memos to waive or change reporting frequencies with approval from others.
Office Management:
- Schedule and prepare Agendas for Committee meetings.
- Attend Sales Meetings
- Assist Marketing and Facilities and IT departments with office administration
Client Services: Back-Up Support
- Greets clients in a timely manner including answering the phones, assists clients with answering questions, balance inquiries, researching and resolving client problems.
- Receive, verify and post as appropriate, checks and cash for deposit to checking and money market accounts, process withdrawals, cash checks, issue cashier’s checks and gift cards, open and close deposit accounts, complete stop payment orders and address changes.
- Effectively explain deposit policies and regulations in order to obtain proper documentation for deposit accounts.
- Have knowledge of all bank services and products.
Successful candidate will have:
- Commercial loan documentation and servicing experience is required.
- 3+ years banking experience required.
- Executes to predetermined or moving deadlines for timely renewals or to meet client expectations.
- Advanced follow-up and multi-tasking skills required to achieve multiple deadlines is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
