Summary:

The Commercial Portfolio Manager III, Middle Markets - will manage a book of business and/or outstandings, and/or support a specialty area in a Commercial lending relationship, i.e. Syndications, Large Corporate or ABL in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. Maintains a highly credible relationship between portfolio management and HNB's credit approval authorities. Develops robust portfolio analysis processes and data capture processes that manage risk and that generate valuable market insights to management and clients that help the bank and clients win. Accountable for identifying client needs (both credit and non-credit) within the portfolio and referring to middle market banking team for urgent execution to drive revenue growth. Please note: Working location for this role is in Dallas, TX.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Services, deepens, and retains assigned profitable customer relationships by pro-actively evaluating and mitigating associated business risks and opportunities, per established Huntington policies, procedures, and Guiding Principles.
• Owns primary responsibility for the credit and monitoring of Commercial portfolio risks.
• Responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and credit quality of assigned portfolio working directly with the Team Leader, Regional Commercial Management, and Regional Credit Officer.
• As appropriate, assists in optimizing customer relationships working directly with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, and other team members to effectively grow fees, deposits, and portfolio revenue by presenting practical Huntington financial solutions to customers.
• Manages delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base, portfolio reviews, specialized reporting, soft exposure annual reviews, criticized loans, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7 years of related experience
