Commercial Preconstruction Manager

One of my top clients, a well stablished company in the Commercial Construction industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Preconstruction Manager. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are looking to advance their career in construction and be a part of a reputable organization.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze bid documents and plan packages to understand project scope and requirements
- Maintain and update subcontractor bid database by researching and vetting new subcontractors
- Collaborate with design teams, architects, and engineers to develop accurate construction timelines and schedules
- Prepare detailed estimates, take-offs, and input all necessary information during the preconstruction phase
- Coordinate bid packages and ensure all necessary materials and resources are available for construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing and bids
- Utilize industry software and tools to accurately estimate project costs and timelines

*Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in preconstruction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in construction estimating software such as Procore or Bluebeam
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
