Commercial Project Estimator (Reconstruction/Restoration) - RestoreCore

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for commercial project estimating. The position involves scoping repair losses, writing and delivering timely estimates and the ability to deliver estimates meeting RestoreCore’s project requirements for budget and quality. The estimator will be responsible for arriving at an approved repair scope of work and price with all involved parties including clients and insurance carriers.

Responsibilities:

· Communicates with any public authority having jurisdiction of the project, clients, adjusters, and the associated RestoreCore Business Developers

· Develops and maintains relationships with potential clients and referral sources

· Explain and sign Emergency Services Contract Agreement

· Write a detailed scope of work for the project based on visual inspection or interviews, notes, and pictures provided by others

· Complete project within acceptable profit margins

· Respond to Adjuster and Project Manager as needed with regards to scope of work or revisions to estimate

· Document the estimate for review in DASH

· Participating in the On-Call rotation and attending any afterhours commercial loss

· Travel with field crews as needed

· Attend training seminars

· Attend weekly one on one meetings and weekly team strategy/goal setting meetings

Skills and Training:

· Proficient knowledge of restoration job tracking software- DASH

· Functional knowledge of Xactimate estimating software

Essential Functions:

The Estimator must be able to exercise good judgment and carry out written and verbal instructions. Your job responsibilities also include extended hours as an essential function of your position because company workloads are subject to change regularly.

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, twist; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
