Commercial and Residential Route Driver - CDL required - LaTrae Consulting Group

LaTrae Consulting Group is seeking skilled and reliable CDL carrying Drivers to operate waste collection trucks and roll-off trucks for our client in Eliot Maine.

This role requires drivers who can safely and efficiently manage daily routes while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate waste collection and roll-off trucks on assigned routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment
• Load, transport, and dispose of waste or recyclables at designated facilities
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures to minimize accidents or safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records of route activity, including work orders and collection details
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and the public
• Communicate any maintenance or operational issues with the fleet management team
• Ensure compliance with all DOT and local regulations during operations

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class B license (Class A preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience
• Experience with roll-off or waste collection trucks is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must have a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
