A well-established company with a family atmosphere and great work environment is seeking an Senior commercial roofing estimator/project manager  to join their team.  Applicants must have 5+years experience in commercial roofing project management.

Job Description:

ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for project estimates.
• Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to ensure accurate estimates.
• Evaluate and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to determine the most cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing construction estimating and project management
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management ideal but not required.
• Bi-lingual a plus
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
