A well established company is seeking a motivated and skilled roofing construction Foreman. if you have 3-5 years experience in commercial roofing APPLY TODAY. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of commercial flat roofing projects
- Lead a team of roofing technicians, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to project schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and organize resources, materials, and equipment required for each project.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential issues, develop solutions, and ensure work is performed to meet industry standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report any variations or potential risks to management.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that work is completed to the highest standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a foreman in commercial roofing.
- Extensive knowledge of flat roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on the job site.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform job duties such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
