Commercial Service Technician
As a Commercial Mechanic you will work at our Wilks location providing light mechanical service and tire service to the Commercial Trucking industry. You will perform the following service on commercial trucks, RV and trailers: 
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:   
- Perform light mechanical maintenance on commercial trucks and trailers including:  
- Lube, oil change, filter service  
- Alignments 
- Front End Suspension
- Brakes & Air System 
- DOT Annual Inspections
- Determine service requirements from commercial truck drivers and communicate to Service Supervisor and/or Service Technicians  
- Properly execute required service ticket to submit to management. 
- Respond in a timely manner to customer service calls, diagnosing issues, and performing on-site repairs and/or replacements. 
- Clean and maintain service equipment. 
- Any other duties as assigned by management 
- Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting. 
- Report any safety issues immediately to management.  
- Help keep shop clean and organized
- Maintaining a Professional Appearance
Basic Qualifications: 
- Minimum 1 year of Commercial experience including brakes, oil changes, front end work, all wheel position alignments.
- Must be able to rotate on-call work every 3 weeks.
- Have your own tools
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications: 
- High School Diploma or GED.  
- DOT Inspector Certification.
- ASE Certification

- Commitment to follow all safety procedures and comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements. 
- Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions. 
- Strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from others.  
- Hard worker, someone who works diligently to get tasks done and demonstrates personal characteristics, such as responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamwork. 
- Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing industry. 
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions. 
- Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines.
