Commercial Superintendent - The Brazos Group

We are assisting one of the fastest growing commercial general contractors in Houston as ranked by the Houston Business Journal. They are a full-service construction firm providing contracting, design/build, CM at risk and CM at fee service.

Due to tremendous growth, they are looking to add a commercial Superintendent with experience in all facets of commercial construction to their Austin office. The company’s portfolio is very diverse with projects of all sizes and in all sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial construction handling projects  >$10M. 
• Managed crews of ten (10) or more tradesmen
• Managed all subcontractors on a single project.
• Organize site project progress meetings, compile meeting minutes and perform preconstruction meetings.
• OSHA 30 hour, First Aid/CPR
• Ability to perform layout with use of construction survey equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of plans, specifications and construction documents
• Strong work ethic, decisive, ambitious, with an unwavering commitment to quality
• High level of motivation, integrity, and commitment to team and customer
• Results-orientated with proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Ability to provide leadership field personal and subcontractors
• Ability to manage owner expectations
