Commissions Analyst - SGA Inc.

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Commissions Analyst for a contract assignment with one of our premier Insurance services clients in NYC, Holmdel, NJ, Bethlehem, PA, or Pittsfield, MA .

Responsibilities :

• Manage Financial Representatives (FRs), Prote ge 's, Registered Representatives (RRs), Professional Associates (PAs), Financial Professionals (FPs), Full Time Agents (FTAs), Broker and Wholesaler compensation and contract terms.
• Ensures accurate field compensation by interpreting firm producer contracts and compensation schedules and contract terms.
• Works closely with firm Agent Contracting and Licensing (ACL) to ensure that compensation is paid according to the ever changing and varying state license regulations.
• Process assignment of commissions adhering to legal requirements.
• Provides confidential compensation information to various internal departments such as Legal, Audit and Agency Accounting Services and Manager, Distribution Alliance.
• Must process paper, NSCC and IPS commission statements and adjustments.
• Must be able to identify the various types of commissions being reported (regular, 12b-1's and mixed transactions) and product types (mutual fund, variable annuity, variable life, brokerage and RIA business).
• This position requires customer service by responding to commission-related issues and questions, problem research and resolution and accurate dissemination of information.

Required Skills:

• Work experience in Broker Dealer firms.
• 5-10 years Financial Services experience.
• Excel
• End Client communication experience.
