Commission Analyst
My name is Bill Stevens, and I have two new twelve month plus Commission Analyst opportunities available for a major firm with offices in Lower Manhattan, Holmdel, New Jersey, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Pittsfield, Massachusetts that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. The work schedule will be remote however the ideal candidate must live within a reasonable distance of any of the firms office locations. This is due to the fact that on rare occasions the firm wants the ideal candidate to come into the office to attend meetings.
The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship.
Responsibilities:
Manage Financial Representatives (FRs), Prote Client 's, Registered Representatives (RRs), Professional Associates (Client), Financial Professionals (FPs), Full Time Agents (FTAs), Broker and Wholesaler compensation and contract terms.
Ensure accurate field compensation by interpreting producer contracts and compensation schedules and contract terms
Works closely with the firms Agent Contracting and Licensing (ACL) to ensure that compensation is paid according to the ever changing and varying state license regulations
Process assignment of commissions adhering to legal requirements
Provides confidential compensation information to various internal departments such as Legal, Audit and Agency Accounting Services and Manager, Distribution Alliance
Must process paper, NSCC and IPS commission statements and adjustments
Must be able to identify the various types of commissions being reported (regular, 12b-1's and mixed transactions) and product types (mutual fund, variable annuity, variable life, brokerage and RIA business)
This position requires customer service by responding to commission-related issues and questions, problem research and resolution and accurate dissemination of information
Skills and experience:
Work experience in Broker Dealer firms
5-10 years Financial Services experience
MS Excel Experience
End Client communication experience
