Position Type: Contract – 8 Months
Rate: DOE (W2/1099 ONLY)
This position will be remote/home-based, but the candidate may be expected to periodically travel to Pennsylvania in support of specific transition activities. Travel requirements will be minimal.
As a member of our client's Global Transition team, the Communications and Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant provides leadership and support in all areas of communications pertaining to specific customer projects.
Within this capacity, this role is designed to oversee, coordinate, and manage the communications required for a customer's end user community. As our client provides new or enhanced services for a client, this role works directly with the client's corporate communications lead to design and produce communications to the end user community. These communications typically focus on tactical changes a user can expect within their work environment (calling a new phone number for service desk support, for example), and sometimes marketing pieces showing the benefits of the improved services.
This role will manage a schedule of communications milestones, develop communications artifacts as outlined in a plan, review and update artifacts based on client feedback, and obtain client approval before communication distribution. Additionally, this role will have responsibility to provide the overall strategy and ongoing status updates for all communications elements.

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day responsibilities for this role include:
- Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of communications development. Ensure compliance with the existing client communications channels, and drive consistent communications messaging that supports the transition objectives.
- Meet with internal and client stakeholders to review communications messaging.
- Develop communications samples for review.
- Strict management of a timeline to develop, review, update, and approve communications, both with Client and client teams.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of all communications artifacts.
- Understand unique client environment, communications channels, and different impact levels for different stakeholders within the client environment.
- Follow proper transition escalation paths (if issues arise) as part of the transition team.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree in English, Business, Project Management, Communications, or related field
- Must be very detail-oriented with ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills with exceptional verbal and written communication competencies are required
- Must possess an understanding of good governance practices and demonstrate strong project management aptitude
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Word is required
- Experience in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Visio is preferred
