Major/Essential Functions
The K-12 Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the strategic marketing goals of Texas Tech University’s K-12 programs. This role involves supporting marketing campaigns, managing social media content, coordinating promotional materials, and assisting in the development of marketing collateral. The K-12 Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Associate Director of TTU K-12 & TTU Online Marketing to ensure all marketing efforts align with the university's objectives and reach targeted audiences effectively.- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and digital advertising.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to create and distribute marketing materials.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to promote TTU K-12 programs.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to inquiries, and engage with followers to enhance community engagement and program visibility.
- Support the creation, procurement, and distribution of branded promotional items for TTU K-12.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure promotional materials are delivered on time and within budget.
- Assist in managing inventory and maintaining relationships with promotional item vendors.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the TTU K-12 website, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and engaging.
- Work with the Associate Director to create compelling web content that aligns with marketing goals and enhances user experience.
- Support content development for newsletters, brochures, flyers, and other marketing collateral.
- Work closely with the Associate Director and other team members to ensure marketing efforts are integrated and aligned with TTU Online’s overall marketing strategies.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to support marketing initiatives and foster collaboration.
- Assist in organizing and promoting events related to TTU K-12 programs.

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and content management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in K-12 or higher education marketing.
- Familiarity with Texas Tech University branding and marketing practices.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and other digital marketing tools.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (e.g., Hootsuite) for scheduling social media content.
- Graphic design skills or proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) a plus.
