About the Role
Are you a dynamic and ambitious student with a passion for human resources and communications? Join our team as a Communications/HR Intern and embark on a transformative journey with a company that is not just a workplace, but a platform for learning, growth, and success.
As a Communications Intern, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, from assisting in crafting compelling internal communications.
What You’ll Do:
- Create graphics for Communications in Canva
- Create Videos/Slideshows/documents in Canva for Communications
- Service Awards organization and document production
- Create and organize surveys in Survey Monkey
- Create proofs Business Card Requests in Canva, confirm requestor approval, maintain spreadsheet.
- Data Entry projects
- Document/Space/Website Audit projects
- Counter Day flyer production/monthly mailing through Pardot (ongoing marketing/Laura Yates)
- Creating content, maintaining calendars, and general assistance for our employee communication platform.
- PDF conversion/mailing to lists and archive for our company newsletter.
- Newsletter assistance and article drafting for our company newsletter.

What You’ll Bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional emails, create content for internal communications, and assist in crafting company-wide announcements.
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as Canva
- Attention to Detail
- Adaptability andwillingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on new responsibilities as required.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and contribute ideas to improve HR and communication processes.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and their role in corporate communication.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all communications and interactions.
